From reintegration into the community to everyday life within the community

From 26 to 29 June 2026, the Acordemos Foundation, the Peace, Security and Care Laboratory and the Agency for Reintegration and Normalisation (ARN), with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FESCOL), organised a knowledge-sharing event in Pueblo Bello (César) with signatories to the Peace Agreement from the municipality of Fonseca, in the district of Conejo. Over four days, 26 participants shared experiences regarding the intangible aspects of implementing the Peace Agreement, the progress made and the commitments to territorial transformation. The exchange enabled participants to identify opportunities to strengthen community work, broaden dialogue with local leaders and identify joint actions to continue promoting territorial peace-building: consolidating advocacy agendas with other sectors in the region, strengthen local capacities for the autonomous management of peace initiatives, coordinate institutional and community actions with local, environmental and socio-political dynamics, and identify common ground in advancing the peace agenda within the community, amongst other things. At the Acordemos Foundation, we believe that creating spaces for encounter and collective action is essential for consolidating shared agendas that contribute to peace and the transformation of territories.
