How to pave the way for protection, prevention and guaranteeing rights from a community perspective

During August and September, the Acordemos Foundation and the Guernica 37 Centre developed an exchange programme with seven community leaders from Guaviare (El Retorno), Meta (Vistahermosa), southern Córdoba (Tierralta) and Pondores (Fonseca, Guajira) (four men and three women) to deepen the analysis of the challenges of protection, prevention and guarantee of rights in the context of the new dynamics of violence and to identify the type of measures and actions that could contribute at the local level to minimising risks for both communities and their social leaders. This agenda culminated in a face-to-face exchange, which was joined by the School of Government of the Externado University.
