Acordemos took part as a trainer in the online diploma course ‘Verification of the Implementation of the Peace Agreement and Monitoring of the Ceasefire’, a joint initiative of the Colombian-German Institute for Peace (CAPAZ), the Higher School of Public Administration (ESAP), the Joint Strategic Transition Command (CCOET), the Police Unit for Peacebuilding (UNIPEP), the Mission to Support the Peace Process in Colombia (MAPP-OAS) and Acordemos. More than 90 members of the Armed Forces and UNIPEP are involved in the programme. The diploma course aims to strengthen the skills of military and police personnel to understand and participate in processes to verify the implementation of the Peace Agreement and in mechanisms to monitor the ceasefire.
